"A most peculiar clean-up day"

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch Location/Desert

Height/Weight: That of an average ox.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Good

Summary: An alien comes to Earth. People die. That sounds like a standard movie, right? Well...not exactly, this time. Would you believe that the big scary monster shown in most of the promotion is the kind of thing you'd prefer to see in this particular scenario? Strange but true.

History: It came from a faraway planet similar to Mars, travelling across the galaxy and right into the outskirts of Australia. Unfortunately, this beast, known as the Dustwalker, carried with it a deadly collection of alien spores that spread like wildfire across a small town. Anyone infected with these spores either dies, or becomes a mindless zombie. The Dustwalker, no doubt horrified at this development, is prepared to wipe out the entire town to contain the infection. But sometimes, we humans help in unlikely ways.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After the human survivors unintentionally round up all the infected, the Dustwalker kills them all, and spares the hapless people so that it may drag them all to its spot in the wild. All of the dead spore carriers are put in a pile and incinerated by the beast, ending the spread and allowing the monster to stop the dust storm it would have used instead. It's not known where the Dustwalker went afterwards, but it can be inferred that it stayed in case the spores popped up elsewhere.

Powers/Abilities: The Dustwalker can burrow through solid ground, and understand human speech. It can also breathe fire, emit a deafening shriek, and start gigantic dust storms.

Weakness: Unknown.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-The terrible CGI for this thing is already a blight on any scares it might have brought to the table, but there is more holding back this otherwise creepy and odd design of an alien. Sure, it almost wiped a town off the map with dust, but it was all in the name of containing a deadly infection and stopping it from ravaging a planet that wasn't even its home. Combine that with the ability to negotiate, and you have a surprisingly approachable predator from space.

Trivia: -The spores that the Dustwalker seeks to eradicate are identical in function to the cordyceps fungus, which infects the minds of arthropods, turns them into mindless drones, and then grows from the inside until they're little more than bases for the adult fungus, which then releases more spores to begin the cycle again.

-This film was also known as "Alien Parasite".

"This is the most idiotic species ever! That's supposed to kill them!"

Cloppity cloppity clop!
Except with the being of another world.

They didn't ask if he/she was single. COP-OUT!
Just what we were all up against in truth.

For once, we won't split hairs on lighting.

And already, this guy did a better job than the Trump Administration.
